A window cleaning company, and nothing else

Working for a national outfit teaches you the trade fast. It also teaches you what goes wrong at scale: crews rotating so often nobody learns your building, four-hour arrival windows, prices quoted by someone who has never seen your house, and a definition of “clean” that stops at the glass and ignores the track it sits in.

So we set up on our own here in Portsmouth. Small on purpose. The person who quotes your job is the person who shows up to do it, which is the simplest quality control there is.

What we are good at

Glass. Windows inside and out, screens, sills, tracks, storm panels, post-construction label and mortar removal, and hard water restoration. That is the list. We do not clean gutters, wash siding, or seal driveways, and we are not going to pretend otherwise to win a job. When a customer needs something outside our trade we say so and usually point them somewhere good.

How we work

• Firm pricing. The estimate is the price. If we find something unexpected — heavy mineral staining, say — we stop and talk to you before doing anything that changes the number.
• Real appointment times. Not a window. And if weather forces a change, the call comes from us before it comes from you.
• Honest assessments. Some hard water damage is etched into the glass and cannot be cleaned off. We will tell you that instead of taking your money and shrugging.
• We walk it with you. Before we leave, not after.

Insured and local

We carry insurance and can provide certificates on request — commercial property managers and landlords generally need one for their files. We are based at 188 Summer Street in Portsmouth and everything we do happens within about forty minutes of it.
