Post-construction window cleaning
New glass is the easiest glass in the world to ruin. Getting the site off it takes the right blade, the right angle, and someone who has done it a few thousand times.
A final clean on a new build or a gut renovation is not window cleaning — it is removal work. Manufacturer labels and their adhesive. Mortar and stucco splash. Latex overspray and primer mist. Silicone smears from the glazier. Drywall dust that has bonded into a film after a summer of sun. Joint compound in every track.
It is also where most glass damage happens. Fabricating debris on tempered panes and dry scraping are the two fastest ways to put permanent scratches into brand new windows, and the damage does not show up until the sun hits it at the wrong angle a week after the crew leaves. We scrape wet, test unfamiliar glass first, and know when a pane needs to be flagged to the builder instead of forced.

Common questions
Can you get construction stickers and adhesive off without scratching?
Yes. Labels come off with heat, solution, and a wet blade held at the correct angle — never dry-scraped. Tempered glass in particular can carry fabricating debris from the factory that scratches under any blade, so unfamiliar glass gets tested in a corner before we work a whole pane.
Do you work directly with builders and general contractors?
Regularly. We can price by the unit, by the opening, or by the job, and we can come in for a rough clean mid-project and again at final.
How soon after construction should the windows be cleaned?
Sooner is genuinely better. Mortar splash and adhesive that bake on a south-facing pane through a whole summer are dramatically harder to remove, and sometimes leave etching behind that cleaning cannot fix.
